Moving on out: BRIGHTON

Moving on out: BRIGHTON

After months of planning (and no sign of slowing down), I’m excited to announce that my boyfriend and I are moving out and relocating to Brighton!

We currently live just north of London and it’s time for a change of lifestyle, scenery and a new pace. I remember the first time we went down there together in summer 2015 and as we walked down to the seafront we said “WE COULD LIVE HERE”. We have been known to say the very same thing in Rome and New York but things are falling into place and our hearts are set on trying out Brighton. That same day we did suffer the worst sunburn of our lives, so I think it’s a good sign that this hasn’t tainted the city for us!

One of the best things about the move is that we will be putting lots of content together for the blog all about moving out, why we chose Brighton, how to communicate best with your estate agent, furniture and design ideas/wishlists. I’m so excited to put all of this together over the coming weeks/months and share this journey! If there’s anything you’d like to see specifically then please do ask! Nathan has worked in estate agency for a few years so has an inside eye on the logistics of moving.

I currently commute into London everyday and my journey both ways totals 3 hours some days – I can’t wait to be freed of this and be able to walk to work and see the ocean daily. I will hopefully start teaching yoga in Brighton in the not too distant future, so if you’re local to the area, please let me know! I can’t wait for these plans to come to fruition and start this adventure!

More to follow soon…

Question from a Yank! Is there public transport from London to Oxford/Cambridge? Also, what’s more worth a half-day trip – Oxford/Cambridge, or Brighton? (I’m not a beach person.)
